Research papers:

Continuing discussion of research projects, and posts and discussions of your recommendations, should be posted in the Research Projects forum.

• Continue discussion of research project presentations
• The final piece of your research project assignment, due before the end of this week, is to make three or four recommendations that you think would help deal with the human rights dimensions of your topic. Here’s the assignment:
  
  
  1. Write out three or four recommendations that you think would help address the human rights dimensions of the topic you studied.
     
     You could see examples here of the kinds of recommendations that have been made in some human rights reports prepared by Environment and Human Rights Advisory.
     
     
  2. For each of your recommendations say a few words about:
     • who you think should implement the recommendation;
     • why you think it would help the situation;
     • what you think the likelihood is of that recommendation actually being implemented in the not-too-distant future;
     • what you think the likelihood of success would be if that recommendation were to be implemented.
       
       
  3. Then respond to at least one or two sets of recommendations that others have posted, and discuss at least one or two additional comments others have made.
