Assignment for week five

 

This week we will examine four cases of environmental exposures and their impacts. The assignment is to learn as much as you can about each one, write and post your responses to Discussion Questions, and then discuss each case.

You will also be reading an encyclopedia article about human rights in general, and writing, posting and discussing your responses to Discussion Questions about the article.

The four case studies:

  • Assigned sections: Sec 1; Sec 2; Sec 3; Sec 5.1; Sec 5.2; Sec 5.7; Sec 5.8
  • Unassigned sections: 3.1; 3.2; 3.3; 4; 5.3; 5.4; 5.5; 5.6

Write:

• write out your responses to the Discussion Questions for each of the four cases and post them into the Class Discussion forum in the classroom. Your initial responses to each set of DQs should be posted into the classroom by Saturday or Sunday.
• Then discuss the four cases and each other's responses to the DQs
